SAT Description

Being prepared is the key to success. Our SAT prep course helps students become familiar with the testing format, analyzes test questions, and focus on the strategies to solve questions based on math and English concepts. Tuition includes a real SAT exam questions text.


The SAT prep class has successfully helped students prepare for the SAT exams by showing ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency and how to do an appropriate analysis of questions by using real SAT exam questions. Students will review essay writing strategies in preparation of the NEW writing portion of the exam. Want to check out what the SAT exam questions are like?

Emphasis

Familiarity with the current format of the SAT Verbal skills - increase reading comprehension and understanding paired passages; Math skills - familiarity with math grid and when to use a calculator; advantages and disadvantages of guessing; ways to reduce the time needed to answer questions; and scoring of the SAT and how to compute a score on sample tests.


Features

Course materials are practical and relevant for the current SAT; Students will take a pre-test and post-test; Students are given homework assignments between classes; and Sample SAT exams are given as practice tests.

At Newton Center Dates: Saturdays, January 31 - March 7

At Newton High School on Sundays from 12.00 PM – 2.00 PM on January 11th, 18th and 25th

At Westwood High School on Saturdays from 9.00 AM – 11.00 AM on January 10th, 17th and 24th

At Walpole High School on Saturdays from 10.30 AM – 12.30 PM on January 10th, 17th and 24th
